DANGEROUS VOLCANOS

HI GUYS I AM WITH AN INTERESTING POST ..  WE SHOULD ALWAYS NOT BE INSIDE OUR STUDY BOOK, WE SHOULD ALSO EXPLORE .WE HAVE TO KNOW WHAT IS AROUND THE WORLD ALSO....SO I AM HERE WITH SOME INFORMATION . TODAY'S TOPIC IS THE DANGEROUS VOLCANOES.

1. Mount Vesuvius

Over the last 17,000 years, the volcano has gone through eight major explosive eruptions that were followed by large pyroclastic flows, according to the Smithsonian Institute/USGS Global Volcanic Program database. Vesuvius’ last known eruption occurred in 1944. The Italian government has multiple plans prepared for a possible eruption in the future. At least six million people live in the vicinity of Vesuvius, according to the database.

2.Mount Rainier

The heat from Mount Rainier’s lava flows could potentially melt the snow and ice on the volcano, causing a rapid downstream flow of mud, rocks and debris called lahar. Huge lahars are the greatest risk posed by an eruption at Mount Rainier, according to the USGS. More than two million people would be affected by an eruption, according to the Global Volcanism Program.

3. Novarupta Volcano

Located in Alaska’s Katmai National Park and Preserve, the Novarupta volcano was formed in 1912 in an eruption that was the world’s largest in the twentieth century, sending nearly 30 cubic kilometers of ash and debris into the air and producing such strong ash flow, it formed the Valley of Ten Thousand Smokes. While the immediate area surrounding Novarupta is not populous, the 1912 eruption formed an ash cloud that rained sulfurous ash across southern Alaska and parts of Canada. After three days, people in nearby Kodiak had succumbed to eye soreness and respiratory issues caused by ash fall, according to the USGS.

I THINK THIS IS ENOUGH FOR TODAY'S POST...

WORLD PEACE DAY

HI GUYS HOPE YOU ALL ARE FINE AND SAFE IN YOUR HOUSE . DO YOU THINK STAYING IN HOUSE IS PEACE AND YOU GET  FREEDOM?

YES THIS IS ALSO A PEACE WE HAVE TO GET  RID OF CORONA RIGHT. SO WHEN IT  LEAVES OUR COUNTRY AND GO BACK TO IT'S BIRTH PLACE ,THAT WILL BE A PEACE AND WE WOULD GET  FREEDOM  FROM  LOCK DOWN.  SO STAY SAFE . TODAY OUR TOPIC IS ABOUT  PEACE  . LET'S KNOW SOMETHING ABOUT  PEACE ON THIS WORLD PEACE DAY(21 SEPTEMBER 2020) .

FIRST  What is the meaning of World Peace Day?

Each year the International Day of Peace is observed around the world on 21 September. The UN General Assembly has declared this as a day devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace, through observing 24 hours of non-violence and cease-fire.

How do we celebrate Peace Day?

Look for Peace Day activities in your own community and around the world: *Minute of silence at 12 noon (all timezone) *Peace education events *Intercultural and interfaith dialogues *Workshops on the UN Peace Day theme *Meditation and prayer *Planting peace poles *Community gatherings *Vigils *Concerts and festivals ...

Who donated Peace Bell to UN?

The Peace Bell was donated by the United Nations Association of Japan in June, 1954. Mr. Chiyoji Nakagawa, the former counsellor of the United Nations Association of Japan and observer during the 6th session of the General Assembly in Paris in 1951, proposed to build a Peace Bell as a symbol of hope for peace .

OK GUYS HOPE THIS WAS NICE AND INFORMATIVE  .

HAPPY INTERNATIONAL DEMOCRACY DAY

HI GUYS HERE I AM WITH ANOTHER POST.....

TODAY (15 SEPTEMBER)IS INTERNATIONAL DEMOCRACY DAY...

FIRST LET'S KNOW WHAT IS DEMOCRACY DAY ?

Democracy Day marks the day the military handed over power to an elected civilian government in 1999, marking the beginning of the longest continuous civilian rule since Nigeria's independence from colonial rule in 1960. It is a tradition that has been held annually, beginning in year 2000.

THE FATHER OF DEMOCRACY IS  CLEISTHENES .

IS DEMOCRACY GOOD FOR A COUNTRY ? THIS WAS A QUESTION THAT I HAD..

A 2006 meta-analysis found that democracy has no direct effect on economic growth. However, it has strong and significant indirect effects which contribute to growth. Democracy is associated with higher human capital accumulation, lower inflation, lower political instability, and higher economic freedom .

WHAT TYPE OF DEMOCRACY OUR INDIA IS ?

It is parliamentary type .

LET'S SEE THE MAIN FUNCTION OF INDIAN DEMOCRACY ?

In the parliamentary democracy of India, the ultimate responsibility for running the administration rests with the elected representatives of the people which are the ministers. These ministers are accountable to the legislatures which are also elected by the people on the basis of universal adult suffrage.

ANOTHER QUESTION I HHAD WHILE CHOOSEING THIS TOPIC WHAT IS THE IMPORTANCE OF DEMOCRACY DAY ? I GOT TO KNOW BY SCEARCHING IN NET ? THAT IS

The main significance of International Day of Democracy is that it provides an opportunity to urge people, all governments to respect the rights of the citizens and provide substantive and meaningful participation in democracy .

HOPE SO IT WAS USEFULL ….

LEAVE U R COMMENTS 😊😊

                 HAPPY INTERNATIONAL DEMOCRACY DAY …...

WATER SCARCITY

HI GUYS , HERE I AM WITH ANOTHER POST

“For every drop of water you waste, you must know that somewhere on earth someone is desperately looking for a drop of water!”

THIS POST IS ABOUT THE WATER SCARCITY, WHICH IS FACED BY MOST OF THE PEOPLE ACROSS THE WORLD...

IN INDIA THE MAJOR SCARCITY WE FACE IS WATER SCARCITY........

Water scarcity is the lack of fresh water resources to meet the standard water demand. Water scarcity can also be caused by droughts, lack of rainfall, or pollution. This was listed in 2019 by the World Economic Forum as one of the largest global risks in terms of potential impact over the next decade. It is manifested by partial or no satisfaction of expressed demand, economic competition for water quantity or quality, disputes between users, irreversible depletion of groundwater, and negative impacts on the environment. Two-thirds of the global population (4 billion people) live under conditions of severe water scarcity at least 1 month of the year. Half a billion people in the world face severe water scarcity all year round. Half of the world's largest cities experience water scarcity.

One-quarter of the world's population is affected by economic water scarcity. Economic water scarcity includes a lack of infrastructure, causing the people without reliable access to water to have to travel long distances to fetch water, which is often contaminated from rivers for domestic and agricultural uses.

MANY PEOPLE ARE AFFECTED BY THIS WATER SCARCITY.MANY PEOPLE DEPEND UPON AGRICULTURE IF THEY HAVE WATER ONLY THEY CAN DO FRAMING . IF THERE IS NO WATER THEY GO IN POVERTY. MANY PEOPLE ACROSS THE WORLD FACE THIS SITUATION.

Around 700 million people in 43 countries suffer today from water scarcity.

5 COUNTRIES  , THAT FACE THE MOST WATER SCARCITY  IS

  1. Western Sahara. ...
  2. Yemen. ...
  3. Djibouti. ...
  4. Jordan.
  5. Libya

THE COUNTRY WHICH HAVE NO WATER SUPPLY IS VATICAN CITY.

The smallest country without a river is Vatican City with a land area of 0.171 sq miles (0.445 sq km). It has no lakes, rivers or mountains and depends on Italy for its water supply

SO KEEP THE PEOPLE IN MIND THOSE WHO FACE THE WATER SCARCITY AND DON'T WASTE WATER....

HOPE SO THIS POST WAS INFORMATIVE
